First aid and CPR training on the Gold Coast

Medical emergencies can happen at work, at home, at school or out in the community. Our first aid and CPR courses give you the skills to respond quickly, and they are delivered in line with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

CPR courses

The HLTAID009 Provide CPR course teaches you to recognise and respond to cardiac emergencies, call for medical help and perform effective CPR. It suits parents, educators, tradies, carers and workplace staff who need a current CPR certificate. CPR certificates need renewing every 12 months.

First aid courses

The HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course includes CPR and gives you the skills to provide immediate, effective care in an emergency. First aid certificates need renewing every 36 months.

Advanced first aid and resuscitation

Advanced First Aid (HLTAID014) prepares you for high-risk situations such as multiple casualty incidents and moving or extricating casualties.

Advanced Resuscitation (HLTAID015) covers first aid, CPR and oxygen therapy in complex community and workplace settings, including basic airway adjuncts, tourniquets and haemostatic dressings. It requires HLTAID011 Provide First Aid as a prerequisite.

Occupational first aid

The HLTSS00068 Occupational First Aid skill set is for people employed, or intending to be employed, as a nominated occupational first aider.

LV rescue with CPR or first aid

Our LV rescue courses pair UETDRMP018, performing a rescue from live low voltage (LV) electrical apparatus, with CPR or first aid in one course. They are designed for electricity supply industry and electrical industry workers.
